Our Omega Art deco watch was made in 1972. The entire bezel & entire case is crafted in 14 karat yellow gold with the original thread strap. The case size is 20-22mm including the winding button. The opening / closing buckles are made in steel with yellow 18 karat gold plating and OMEGA stamped on it.
This beauty of this winding mechanism watch is that we know exactly when it dates back to because the history of the watch is etched at the back of the case - it was gifted to A.M Merritt in 1972 as an honour of completing 25 years in the New York Telephone exchange.
It’s stamped 14 karat gold.
